About the challenge
Artificial intelligence and machine learning: With the increasing use of AI and machine learning in various industries, hackathons focused on developing AI-based solutions for areas such as healthcare, finance, and logistics may become more prevalent.
Teams of 3-5 members collaborate to create a functional software or hardware product within a set time limit. Competitors' capabilities are evaluated in various areas, including technical expertise, mental toughness, ingenuity, problem-solving abilities, public speaking and presentation proficiency, time management, resource allocation, and business acumen.

Requirements
What to Build
-
Identify a problem: Identify a problem that can be solved using AI/ML. For example, you could create a chatbot to provide customer support or a recommendation system for online shopping.
-
Explore data sets: Look for interesting data sets that you can use for your project. This could be anything from social media data to financial data.
-
Brainstorm ideas: Brainstorm ideas with your team or alone, based on your problem statement and the data you have collected. You can also check out past AI/ML hackathon projects to get inspiration.
-
Choose a specific problem: Once you have a list of ideas, choose a specific problem that you want to solve. Be sure to consider the feasibility and scalability of your idea.
-
Develop a plan: Create a development plan for your project. Determine what tools and resources you will need and set milestones for your progress.
What to Submit
For Round-1 (Shortlisting) participants must adhere to the following guidelines-:
- During registration, participants must submit a PowerPoint presentation (ppt) that outlines their idea in detail. The ppt should be no longer than 5 slides and should include information about the problem the idea solves, the proposed solution, and the expected impact of the solution.
-
In addition to the ppt, participants must submit a video showcasing the front-end implementation of their idea. The video should be no longer than 5 minutes and should demonstrate how the solution would work in practice.
-
The submitted ppt and video should be original work created by the participant and should not contain any copyrighted material.
-
Participants can submit their ideas as part of a team of up to 3-5 members.
-
The submission deadline for ideas is [21st April ‘23 03:59 P.M.]. Any submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
-
A panel of judges will review all submissions and select the top ideas based on their innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.
-
The selected teams will be notified via email and will be invited to participate in the hackathon to develop their idea further.
-
The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the selection process.
-
By submitting an idea, participants agree to the hackathon's terms and conditions.
PPT Contents:
-
Problem statement: Clearly explain the problem that your project aims to solve using AI/ML.
-
